Thunderstorms

I would like to make an addition to my summer wish list;
Summer thunder storms.

Although England is known for it's silly amounts of rain, they just don't get thunderstorms like we do back home. 

When its just been so darn hot that you have to sleep with your windows wide open and while you sleep the rain clouds roll in and you are briefly woken by a thundering 
BA-BOOM! and the night sky is lit up like midday. Finally relief from the heat as the rain pours down and you fall back to sleep as the thunder rolls away.

We had one of those tremendous nights here in London.
