Scavenger Hunt Sunday

You might call it the easy route, I call it the reinterpreting-old-photos route.  This week's hunt was a challenging one, am I the only one who thought so? Judge if you will, but here are some old to me, new to you photos. Click through to see some of the other link ups.

1. Lace

An 1812 dress on display at the Guelph Museum and Archives Grand Opening in 2012

2. Bling
This is how I roll.  'Bling' in a baggie. (Actually the only new photo)

3. Wood

A late 1800's advertisement, paper on wood, on display at a Pop-Up Museum at the Brant Museum and Archives

4. Fuzzy

Went to a job interview in St. Mary's and stopped off at a local 'antique' store. They had some fabulous items for sale.

5. Fabric

Was too slow putting away laundry this one time and Betty stole a towel for cuddles.

If you've participated in the hunt, let me know in my comments and link up at Ramblings & Photos.

Fun travels!

Next weeks items include:

  1. Hidden
  2. Plain
  3. Left
  4. Fast
  5. Peace

The rules are simple:

  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive).
  6. Have fun!

  1. Interesting that your Lace dress is from 1812. I think it looks so much more modern than that! Betty looks like she's feeling guilty. I thought this week's hunt was tough....but I've felt that for the last few :). Nice set of photos.

  2. Your puppy is so sweet! I love that her name is Betty (my mom's name) and that she stole a towel to snuggle! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
