Six Things You Should Know About Me...

Selena from Oh, The Places We Will Go! has tagged me to do 'Six Things You Should Know About Me' that has been making its way through the blogorsphere. She's given me 9 questions and I am to answer 6 of them. So let's do this, 6 things you may or may not want to know about me.

1. What did you want to be when you grew up?  How did that work out?

When I was little I wanted to be a veterinarian. I don't remember where or when I lost that idea. I still love animals and would love a job where I get to work with dogs. Along the way I had a teacher that loved history and was just so good at sharing his excitement for the subject that I caught on to it too. Then one day I discovered I could actually work in a museum and that had my interest ever since.

2.  What is the best advice your Mother ever gave you?

My mother has said so many things to me, some made sense; when going up/down multiple flights of stairs spin the opposite way to save from getting dizzy, others didn't make sense; 'the squeaky wheel gets squealed on'. Love you mum and all your infinite wisdom :)

3.  What is your favourite comfort dish to prepare?

Grilled cheese sandwich and Campbell's tomato soup. Period.

4.  If you had a million dollar investor, what business would you open?

I like dogs, I like tea and I like cereal...a dog friendly cafe that only serves various teas and hot and cold cereals. It would be called...Dog-Gone Cereal or Tea for D O G or maybe just Tea Dog. I'm still workshopping it, but totes ©.

5.  If you were a super hero, what would your super hero powers be?

When I was little I used to have dreams that I had super powers and that I could freeze time. I always thought if I ever did get that power that I would freeze time at recess and I could just play all day instead of doing work. I also wished I could read people's minds.

6.  What is the best gift that you've ever received?

As an only child, your cousins become your brothers and sisters to you when growing up (especially the ones close in age), I have one cousin that just gets me and always knows the most perfect gifts to give me. I can't just name one thing from her because they have always been so thoughtful and unique. I wish I had her gift giving talent.

Well that was fun. Feel free to join in and don't forget to link up in the comments if you do.

1. If you could jump on a plane right now where would you go?

2. If money was no object what would you buy and why?
3. Can you cook? What is your specialty?
4. What book/movie/tv show could you read/watch over and over again for ever and ever?
5. What's your guilty pleasure?
6. When and why did you start blogging?
7. What's something you love about yourself?
8. What would a perfect date night look like for you?
9. One goal you would like to accomplish before your next birthday?

Fun travels!

  2. I knew someone who made a list of things she wanted to accomplish each B'Day. I thought it was a wonderful idea and can be very revealing of oneself.
