Toronto Cider Festival 2017

I'm super excited about attending this year's upcoming Toronto Cider Festival! This year it will be located at Sherbourne Common on Saturday August 26 from 11:30am-10:30pm over 2 sessions.

I attended last year for the first time (read about it here) and am stoked that this year it's planned to be bigger and better featuring 28 cider vendors and over 70 different ciders to sample!

If that's not enough to get you to purchase a ticket to one of the sessions yourself (which you can do here), how about one of these reasons:
  • There will be a Canada 150 photo booth. Who doesn't love a selfie with props?
  • During the day, an art showdown competition.
  • At night, the return of the flair cider cocktail bartending competition. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this last year.
  • An interactive game zone. Feel like a kid playing with giant Connect Four and party sized Jenga.
  • Time for a rest in the cool cottage lounging area.
  • And prizes to be won including weekend getaways to Prince Edward County (cider country!) and a trip to Vancouver to support travel within Canada.

Both the day or evening sessions include 4 sample tokens, a commemorative sampling mug for four and a half hours in duration. Serious cider lovers can opt for the VIP Exclusive Hour which starts an hour before the evening session with 6 additional tokens and access to the Food and Cider Pairing session presented by Brickworks Ciderhouse and an exclusive meet and greet with the cider makers.

Stay tuned for a giveaway in the next few days.

Are you going to the Toronto Cider Festival? What's your favourite cider?
