TO Food + Drink Market takes place over 3 days with a variety of vendors; selling products, giving out samples and providing demonstrations. A $15 ticket gains you entry to the event and some swag, but the food trucks are extra along with drink tickets ($20 for 20) and said demonstrations.
I did not try the SPAM Musubi, but I kinda wish I had.
My friend and I split out 20 drink tickets and got to tasting. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but thankfully everyone had a cider option; some great, others not so much. I did come across a lovely English inspired scrumpy which made me miss
Food Truck Alley was my favourite part of the event (after the ciders), but there were limited options. I finally settled on shrimp and fish tacos from Buster's Sea Cove. Followed by a Pulled Pork Sundae (pulled pork, mashed potato, and gravy. Heavenly!)
When I got home that night I gathered my swag together to admire my haul. Not bad. It's not a cheap day out and I probably wouldn't go every year, but it was definitely a lot of fun.
mmmm I love Busters! This all looks and sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteI love a food truck and a food market. Can't go wrong with that in my books.
