Aix en Provence

While staying in Avignon we decided to take in the sites of a couple neighbouring towns. Aix en Provence is a short 20 min train ride from Avignon TGV station for 25 euros followed by a shuttle bus to the city centre. Our initial plan was to check out the market day that is dotted throughout the small city but our timing was just off this day from a late cab, to a missed train meant that we didn't arrive into the city centre until well after 1. Instead we decided to grab some grub, drink some rosé and wander the charming streets. Selena had been here before and guided us around a bit, but really it was nice to just wander.
I really don't feel like I missed anything by not making it to the market (I was probably the one trying to push it, as you know, I do love a market), but sometimes you just have to roll with the punches when travelling and not let a change of plans upset you too much. And rosé always helps.

Fun travels!
