1. Iceland
This has been on the top of my list for a very long time. One of these days I will be able to cross it off.
2. Scottish Islands
I once did a bus tour of the Scottish Highlands and it really was just a teaser of the wilderness that was up there. I need to explore it!
3. Turks and Caicos
Must have a warm destination on a list like this and a place that is super into Canadians? Even better.
4. St. Pierre and Miquelon
You mean I can visit 'France' and just be 25km off the coast of Newfoundland? Buy me a ticket!
5. Japan
Just cause. Who wouldn't want to see Japan? A friend of mine recently went and her pics made me super jelly!

Don't miss a post!
I did Iceland in 2005 - would love to go again and also went to the Shetland Islands, if you are doing the islands that far North I 100% recommend going - it is accessible by the Northlink ferry in Aberdeen or by plane.
ReplyDeleteShort and sweet :) I could go on forever too haha. I definitely want to get to Iceland as well!
ReplyDeleteOhh thanks for the recs! Fingers crossed I can do at least one of these this year.
ReplyDeleteAn even shorter list would be 'All the places. I want to go to all the places' which would also have been accurate.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to Iceland. It's moving closer to the top of my bucket list every time I read something about it. #travellinkup
ReplyDeleteIceland is on my list too:) but not for this year:) #travellinkup
ReplyDeleteYes yes yes Iceland! On mine too :)
ReplyDeleteOne here I will make it to Iceland! It just looks too amazing to miss!
ReplyDeleteI would love to visit Iceland...there are just too many amazing places to see in the world! I went to the Turks and Caicos for my one year wedding anniversary 18 months ago and other than the sea which was amazing, I was really disappointed as far as Caribbean islands go. There wasn't much to it and it's actually quite run down. There are some amazing caribbean islands out there though!
ReplyDeleteYou *have* to visit Iceland. It's magical (but OH MY GOD EXPENSIVE).
ReplyDeleteIceland is on my list!! And I'd definitely recommend Japan!
ReplyDeleteFive is a good limit - mine could also be endless! Iceland is SO so amazing - i hope you get to go!
ReplyDeleteSame here!
ReplyDeleteI think it might not be on mine either this year, but one can hope and dream.
ReplyDeleteIf only it wasn't quite so expensive!
ReplyDeleteI follow several Icelandic instagrams and they have me drooling with each post!
ReplyDeleteGood to know, thanks Maggie!
ReplyDeleteI want to ride the horses!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh so many places to go!
ReplyDeleteUGH! I really wish someone would pay me to travel.
